“Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress” Course
Mindfulness means attending to and becoming aware of our experiences through our thoughts, feelings and sensations. It’s not a cool detached awareness – it’s gentle, warm and kind. It teaches us to develop a new relationship with the conditions we find ourselves in so we can begin to respond rather than react and remain steady through life’s ups and downs.
The Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress program includes both theory and practice on topics including the science of mindfulness, mindfulness in daily life, as well meditation, periods of silence and gentle mindful movements based on yoga and qi-gong. Each week of the course has a theme that starts with building greater awareness to learning how to make choices in how we respond to life’s events..

Who is the course for?
This Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course is for anyone dealing with stress of any kind, whether associated with work, relationships, finances, loss or other factors outside your control. On this course you will learn mindfulness strategies and approaches within a supportive and friendly group setting.

Costs in 2017: the course fee is $500, which includes a handbook, a workbook and a set of CDs or MP3 files.
